Holby City: Elliot's daughter, Martha, tricks Joseph into coming to look at Gina at home. Gina's condition - motor neurone disease - is worsening but both she and Elliot have so far managed to keep it a secret from Martha. When Gina deteriorates rapidly and needs an emergency procedure, she is adamant that she does not want the treatment. However, against her wishes, Elliot manages to perform the operation in secret at the hospital. At home, when Gina comes round, Elliot tells her he is sorry but he couldn't let her go.Meanwhile, Sam is looking after a young boy who has been adopted.
