Later, David returns to the hospital with some patients leaving Geoff, Kate and Emma to wait for his return. Geoff becomes ill with appendicitis; it needs to be operated on. Kate has to do the operation in the only cover they can find, an aboriginal cave. Meanwhile, David is in a helicopter on the way to help save Geoff's life.
