A young Russian doctor, Anna (Marina Hands) is in danger of interrogation by the soviet police (bad men) as a result of her mystical power to heal with her hands. Subjected to propositions and threats from colleagues and neighbours (more bad men) keen to hand Anna over, she faces a daily battle to avoid arrest.
