Mayday (CA): On 25 February 2009, Turkish Airlines Flight 1951 crashed 1.5 kilometers from the runway at Schiphol in Amsterdam after suffering a stall. Nine people were killed including the three cockpit crew. A faulty radio altimeter caused the plane's computer to automatically reduce engine throttle prematurely in anticipation of landing, and the flight crew failed to notice the drop in airspeed until it was too late.
