Concluding the first series of programmes examining some of rock music's classicalbums. Released in 1977, Rumours has sold in excess of 25 million copies and is still the fourth largest-selling album ever. The LP was recorded when Fleetwood Mac were on a musical high, but enduring a personal low. The two couples within the group, Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham and Christine and John McVie-were splitting up.
