Meanwhile, MAVO attempts to make gold with the formula Jack gave them -- which Jack tells Eleanor and LB is a fake. Jack tries to make gold with the "real" recipe, and neither he nor MAVO are successful. Quellor declares that Jack will pay for his treachery.
